After an agonising absence from racing we see David McFlash McFadden make a welcome return this time in the Supersport FIM World Championship for Team Honda PTR, unforseen circumstances have caused David miss the last 2 Superstock 1000 rounds at Silverstone and Nurburgring, good news is that future plans are underway and have been sped up with last minute negotiations with Team Honda PTR to fill in for injured rider David Linortner starting his coming weekend at round 11 of the eni SBK World Championship to be held in Istanbul Turkey.
"This is a great opportunity for me to ride in World Supersport. This is like a dream come true after a few difficult few weeks with missing two races. I'm rwally excited to be on the CBR600RR, a bike that has given me much success in South Africa and one I'm very comfortable on. The fact that it is a new circuit for everyone, levels the playing field.
Friday first free practice is a long session, this gives me the time to find my feet with the new bike. I would like to thank Team Honda PTR for this opportunity and will give my all in Istanbul.
To all my sponsors and supporters who have stuck with methrough this difficult time while I was side lined, thanks for the continued support and encouragement, it`s greatly appreciated,we have secured a slot on the Supersport grid for the last 3 rounds in Istanbul, Magny-Cours and Jerez and will be pushing hard to get three good results and end the season on a high note.
